Cummins-Allison said the device scans at a rate of 1,200 notes per minute including the new polymer notes which will benefit the organizations from faster throughput, higher levels of counterfeit detection and lower note rejection rates.

The i100 is part of Cummins-Allison revolutionary iFX document imaging platform, which features advanced currency processing capabilities through which documents are processed quicker, accurately and with fewer stops for unmatched productivity.

Cummins-Allison president Doug Mennie said the addition of serial number capture to the portfolio gives customers the ability to quickly and easily record and track currency.
