In this new role, Mr Amine will report to Paul Calello, CEO of the investment bank of Credit Suisse. He will be based in London. The company also announced that Marc Granetz will continue as the co-head of the global investment banking department and global head of the mergers and acquisitions group.

Mr Amine succeeds Eric Varvel, who was recently appointed as CEO of the Europe, Middle East and Africa region and member of the executive board of Credit Suisse. Mr Amine was most recently co-head of global leveraged finance and head of the global markets solutions group (GMSG) in Europe.
