<p>Mr Nargolwala will succeed Paul Calello, who has been CEO of the Asia Pacific region since 2002, and will work with the investment banking, private banking and asset management divisions, leading the integrated bank in the region.<br /><br />Mr Nargolwala has three decades of industry experience in Europe, the US and Asia, the last 10 years of which have been at Standard Chartered, where he has been a member of the board since 1999.<br /><br />Mr Dougan said: I am delighted that Kai Nargolwala, a seasoned and respected banker, will join the executive board of the bank.
