The bank’s new premises, ONE@Changi City, scheduled to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2012.
The new premises is expected to accommodate more than 4000 bank’s staff.
The new office premises will enable the Swiss bank to consolidate its operations from its current multiple sites to two of its existing sites at One Raffles Link, and the future ONE@Changi City.
Credit Suisse said it will retain its existing presence at One Raffles Link primarily for front office and client-facing staff and its data center located in Serangoon.
Credit Suisse vice chairman for Asia Pacific and Singapore country CEO Lito Camacho said that the importance and expected growth of the bank’s operations in Singapore, coupled with the desire to have a consolidated site for majority of staff, were key factors in the bank’s decision to lease ONE@Changi City.
