These new members will join the equity research team of Dan Davies, director, who leads the investment banks and thematic coverage, Jonathan Pierce, managing director, on the UK/international conglomerates and Niall O’Connor, leading the coverage of peripheral Europe.

Carla Antunes da Silva will be joining Credit Suisse as managing director. She will be working alongside Jonathan Pierce and share coverage of the UK banks and international conglomerates sector.

Da Silva has 15 years of experience in the banking sector, having previously covered Iberian banks before concentrating on UK banks at JP Morgan.

Amit Goel will join as vice president from JP Morgan. He will join Da Silva and Pierce on focusing on the UK banks and international conglomerates. Goel has ten years experience in Financials both on the buy and sell-side.

Ignacio Cerezo Olmos will join as a director responsible for Southern European banks coverage. He has covered Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Irish banks for the last nine years at JP Morgan.

Andrea Unzueta will join as an associate. She will support Olmos in providing coverage for the Southern European banking sector. Previous to JP Morgan, where she worked for four years, she worked in the banking sector in Bolivia.

Maxence Gouvello will join the team as director from Morgan Stanley. He will be responsible for the coverage of French and Benelux banks. He has focused on the French and Belgium banking sector for 14 years.

In addition, Nick Gough and Justine Shih will join as directors on the specialist sales desk. Both have experience of the banking sector having worked in the industry for a number of years. They join Credit Suisse from JP Morgan.
