Senior Vice President, Senior Lender Donald Parsons, Jr. will lead the Bank’s lending effort in Anne Arundel County, providing custom solutions and comprehensive services to business customers.

"I welcome the opportunity to introduce Community Bank to the Greater Annapolis community," said Mr. Parsons. "As we forge new relationships with local businesses, we will work to bring the Bank’s tradition of providing exceptional, individualized service to people in this community."

Community Bank of the Chesapeake offers a wide variety of commercial lending services, ranging from acquisition and development loans to lines of credit. A locally-owned institution founded in Maryland over 64 years ago, Community Bank is an economic anchor in Southern Maryland and Virginia. The new lending center, located at 102 Old Solomon’s Island Road, Suite 301, is the Bank’s first office in Anne Arundel County.

"As Community Bank continues to grow, we carefully evaluate market conditions in communities surrounding our existing service area. In Anne Arundel County, we saw an opportunity to move into a commercial market that would benefit from our lending capacity and community-focused approach to banking," said Greg Cockerham, Chief Lending Officer and Executive Vice President of Community Bank of the Chesapeake. "Don is a skilled lender that understands the needs of this particular area, and I am confident that his years of experience will allow the Bank to exceed the expectations of customers in this market."
