Community Bank said that the deal will add more than $100m in deposits and $55m in loans, boosting its ability to offer suitable services to consumer, business banking and private banking clients in the Finger Lakes region, while growing its presence and acquiring new customers.

After the completion of the acquisition, the First Niagara branch located at 470 Exchange Street in Geneva was integrated with the Community Bank, branch located at 5 Seneca Street in Geneva to serve the new and existing customers.

Customers in Geneva can also be served by the Community Bank branch located at 811 Canandaigua Road or any other Community Bank location, says the bank.

Community Bank System is a registered bank holding company with $7.5bn in assets and nearly 190 customer facilities and offers banking products and services for both individuals and businesses.
