Pennsylvania- based Commerce Bank/Harrisburg (CBH) has announced that it will officially operate under its new brand name, Metro Bank, from June 13, 2009. The bank’s parent company, Pennsylvania Commerce Bancorp will begin operating as Metro Bancorp from June 15, 2009 and Metro Bancorp will trade on the under the stock ticker symbol METR.

Additionally, the bank has extended its store hours and introduced a new model of its free coin-counting machine. The new Metro Bank will also offer all of the conveniences, products and services for which CBH was known.

Customers can continue to use their existing CBH checks, debit cards and ATM cards. New Metro Bank checks will be issued upon reorder. New Metro Bank debit and ATM cards will be issued to customers later this year.

CBH and its parent company, Pennsylvania Commerce Bancorp Inc., are not affiliates of TD Bank.
