Mr Ekblad joins Columbia Community Bank after serving as executive vice president and CFO of Town Center Bank, where his performance earned him the distinction of being named by Portland Business Journal as CFO of the Year 2007 among small private companies.
Mr Ekblad’s previous accounting experience also includes service as senior manager with Moss Adams, where he performed financial reporting, internal auditing and consulting. Prior to joining Moss Adams, Mr Ekblad has spent 11 years with West One Bank in Oregon, where he held positions related to branch operations, business development, consumer lending, small commercial lending and branch management.
Bob Ekblad is a member of the Oregon Society of CPAs and is an active Rotarian. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Oregon, a post-baccalaureate certificate in accounting from Portland State University, and a master’s degree in business administration, also from Portland State University. He graduated from both post-graduate programs with honors.
