Gary Gall has been appointed as president and CEO for Citizens Bancorp and its subsidiary, Citizens Bank of Northern California. Mr. Gall, who worked as president and CEO of Western Sierra Bancorp, succeeds Judy Hess, who remains with the Bank as chief banking officer working directly with him.
Mr. Hess said: With the severity of today’s economic times it became clear to the Board and myself that Gary Gall’s specific strengths and vast experience were needed to lead our Bank into the future. Having known Gary and Western Sierra Bancorp’s success in the past, makes me very excited to be a part of this dynamic team that will lead our Bank into the future.”
Kenneth Baker, chairman, said: Our Bank will draw on Gary’s deep experience in local and regional banking and his commitment to community banking as we approach our 15th year in serving the needs of businesses and individuals in Nevada and Placer Counties.
Citizens Bank offers community banking services, including deposit products, commercial, residential and consumer loans, and other traditional banking products and services.
