Like the other cities, Citibank expects the offering to be well received in Bali, said Djamin Nainggolan, personal loan group head at Citibank Indonesia. Providing financial services to help customers realize personal and business goals is Citibank’s aim.

Djamin Nainggolan also said that more than 100,000 customers in Indonesia have already taken out a loan, and that he expects the group’s package and terms to attract new clients in Bali.

Rangga Suwita Widjaja, branch manager of Citibank Bali, said: Our primary target market is the island’s growing middle class sector. And based on market potential and consumer behavior patterns in Bali, we will not only provide lump sum cash loans but also installment payment-based loans.

As part of the launch of the new product, Citibank has partnered with a range of retailers, including local Suzuki, Yamaha, and Piaggio distributors, to offer special credit payment terms. The offer will be extended to more retailers in Bali in the near future.
