Citibank Korea has launched the Citibank Global Banking (CGB) promotion that features new International Cash Card (ICC) and FX AutoBuy&Sell (FXABS).
These account customers can get access to the mid-rate for foreign currency transactions of up to 500 million won (approximately US$ 400,000). New ICC and FXABS clients can have 80% rate discount for travelers check purchases and a 50% discount on the TT selling rate for foreign currency remittance services.
Customers, whose foreign currency exchange transaction exceeds $1,000 at a CKI branch, can also subscribe for free travel insurance. The CGB special deals and offers will be available until August 31, 2009.
A CKI representative, said: “Our International Cash Card and FX AutoBuy&Sell offerings are popular with frequent travelers, especially students studying overseas and their parents. The card and service allows them to better manage their foreign currency transactions in a more cost-effective way.”
