Citibank Korea (CKI) has launched Citi International Cash Check Card. The bank said that this offer has combined convenience of the existing international cash card with check card functionality. Reportedly, the International Cash Check card is available in two options – a Save card and an Airline Mileage card.
The bank has claimed that The International Cash Check card is embedded with international cash card functionality that allows cardholders to withdraw cash overseas (in local currency) from their Korean deposit accounts. Moreover, the cards can be used at ATMs in 33 countries around the world and also at VISA merchants in and outside Korea.
The benefits Save Card cardholder include annual fee waiver, up to 30% discount at Starbucks / Coffee Bean, 50 won per liter discount at S-Oil gas station and up to 6,000 won discount at three major movie theatres.
The benefits of the Airline Mileage Card cardholder include, 10,000 won alliance annual fee, accrues 1 mile per 1,000 won spent for Asiana Air Club Check Card and accrues 1 mile per 1,500 won spent for Korean Air Skypass Check Card.
