With this new partnership, the number of asset manager and fund house partners of Citibank has increased to eight, and Hungarian customers can now choose from 35 different offshore funds in addition to 20 local funds.
Last year, Merrill Lynch and BlackRock agreed to merge Merrill’s asset management business with BlackRock to form a company with over $1.1 trillion in assets under management. BlackRock MLIM, the newly created company, is a provider of global investment management services to clients around the world.

The eight new funds are the European fund, emerging Europe fund, US flexible equity fund, Latin America fund, world mining fund, world gold fund, new energy fund and world energy fund. The minimum required investment amount is $2,500.
