In his new role, Green will be responsible for overseeing the European operations of CIT Corporate Finance and CIT Vendor Finance.
He will report directly to CIT Group President Nelson Chai.
Prior to this appointment, Green served as managing director of CIT Vendor Finance, Europe.
Before joining CIT, Green worked for GE most recently as CEO for their European Commercial Distribution Finance business.
Prior to GE, Green was managing director of the UK Capital Solutions business, managing director for their UK Fleet business, and European COO for the Equipment Finance business.
Chai said that Rich will serve an important role as they look to capitalize on growth opportunities in Europe. His broad experience in the financial services industry will be instrumental in helping them achieve their goals.
