The planned banking centers are to be located in British Columbia (3), Alberta (3), Saskatchewan(1), Manitoba(1), Ontario (8), Quebec (3), and in Newfoundland & Labrador (1), and branches are scheduled to open over the next 12 to 18 months.
Christina Kramer, executive vice president of distribution services for retail markets at CIBC, said: “We are opening new branches and expanding existing locations to offer our clients greater access to financial advice. This is an investment in the long-term growth of Canadian communities and in enhancing the service we provide our clients to make banking as easy as possible for them.”
