In order to achieve a high level of total investment return, including dividend income and capital gains, Cambridge Global Dividend Fund primarily invests in equities of companies from across the globe that pay, or expected to pay dividends.

With Cambridge Global Asset Management as the portfolio advisor, the monthly-distribution fund focuses on dividend growth and sustainability to provide a source of inflation protection for investors.

The fund is also available as Cambridge Global Dividend Corporate Class, which does not pay a regular distribution, but offers the tax efficiency of the CI Corporate Class structure.

CI president Derek Green said, "The strong performance of global equity markets over the past two and a half years underlines the benefits for Canadian investors of foreign diversification.

"With its emphasis on large and stable dividend-paying firms, Cambridge Global Dividend Fund provides a lower-risk approach to accessing the growth and income of global equities."

Cambridge principal and portfolio manager Robert Swanson is the fund’s portfolio manager.
