Having an eye on future banking needs and to offer ideal banking experience, PNB picked up FIS’ CONNEX for its exceptional EFT processing capabilities as well as FIS’s ability of smooth transitions in switching to platform.

According to FIS, its CONNEX has been designed to tolerate faults to the maximum extent possible, has a redundant architecture and the solution has received first-place recognition.

Philippine National Bank first senior vice president and chief technology officer Ramon Abasolo said PNB selected FIS’s ATM solution for its ability to modernize the bank’s existing payment platform, enabling PNB to offer up-to-date features in response to customer demands.

"The robust functionality, high availability and scalability of FIS’ CONNEX platform will provide PNB with an improved ability to meet business requirements in a dynamic market," Abasolo added.

PNB serves more than two million customers with a wide spectrum of competitive banking products, including commercial banking and retail banking services.
