G-PAY Africa has selected CHARGE Anywhere as its premiere offering to be distributed.
CHARGE Anywhere vice president of business development mobile payments John Malone said they couldn’t be more excited with the launch in Nigeria. Anyone who is looking for mobile payments requires a secure payment ecosystem that is flexible, adaptable and can keep pace with the evolution of mobile payments.
"Our device-agnostic platform is a perfect fit for the market and for the types of mobile payments delivered by G-Pay Instant Payments," added Malone.
G-Pay Instant Payments CTO Lekan Adanijo said this partnership with CHARGE Anywhere will enable G-Pay to provide industry-leading, secure payment transactions with wireless POS terminals and most of the commonly used mobile phones in Nigeria by leveraging ComsGate, CHARGE Anywhere’s PCI DSS Level 1 secure payment gateway.
The pilot phase will conclude in 2011, followed by full launch and installation in the same year.
