Walker has diversified experience in bank secrecy act/anti-money laundering compliance, as well as auditing, financial services, and branch management.
Cardinal Bank regional president and chief credit officer Christopher Bergstrom said Bernadette’s skills and experiences will be a valuable asset as Cardinal continues to refine its compliance efforts in light of ever-changing regulations.
Walker has also worked as a senior analyst at both Capital One Bank and Eagle Bank and is also a member of the Finance Committee of the Greater Washington Urban League, and a member of the US Capital Chapter of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists.
