Paul Brown was appointed as a managing director in Calyon’s Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Origination team, where he will concentrate on high yield primary markets. He will report locally to Andrew Schaeffer, head of DCM Origination for the Americas, and globally to Youssef Khlat, global head of high yield.

Mr Brown has 15 years of high yield and energy finance experience. Earlier, he was a managing director with FBR Capital Markets. In addition to FBR Capital Markets, he spent 7 years in the high yield capital market group at BNP Paribas and previously held energy and leverage finance positions at Deutsche Bank.

Howard Goldberg was named as a senior desk analyst with a focus on high yield corporates. He will report to Mariano Goldfischer, global head of credit trading – Americas. Mr Goldberg’s has two decades of experience in the high yield research area includes positions at Goldman Sachs and Salomon Smith Barney, in addition to the Jones Trading.
