Wells Fargo has granted $200,000 to the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (CHCC) to assist in the economic recovery of Hispanic-owned businesses through leadership training, business development courses and economic development programs.

Wells Fargo, through its Latino Business Services Program, has been working with the CHCC to recognize, develop and support Latino Business owners ever since it was established in 1997. Wells Fargo has loaned $5 billion to thousands of Latino business owners nationwide since the program’s inception.

Tim Rios, Senior Vice President of Corporate Community Development and the national spokesperson for Wells Fargo’s Latino Business Services program, said: “Hispanic business owners are an important force in California and this grant will help provide them new tools and resources to further their success. We’re proud to continue working with the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce and believe in the great work they do to support Hispanic businesses and California’s economy.”
