Under the deals, both the banks will implement FIS’ core account processing platform.

AccessBank will integrate the solution with its existing solutions to provide increased operational performance while Calhoun County Bank will replace the solution with its existing core processing solution to optimize key processes.

As part of the deals, Calhoun County Bank will also deploy FIS’ Document Management and TellerElite solutions while AccessBank will deploy FIS’ EFT and item processing solutions.

AccessBank Texas senior vice president and senior operations officer Lisa Herr said that FIS’ core processing capabilities fit well for the bank’s needs.

"We’re benefiting from deep functionality that can be customized to fit our operating requirements," Herr said.

Recently, Bank Freedom, a wholly owned subsidiary of PrepaYd, has signed a multi-year agreement for the FIS Mobile offering in support of its mobile application for the underbanked market.
