State Street, a global provider of financial services to institutional investors and IFDS Canada, has been appointed by Caldwell Investment Management, to provide custody, fund accounting, fund administration, registered trustee services, foreign exchange, transfer agency and unit-holder recordkeeping services for its fund complex.
Brendan Caldwell, president of Caldwell Investment Management, said: “As Caldwell Investment Management expands its business outside of North America, we looked for a truly global and scalable service offering that would allow us to focus on our core business objectives. The global reach, strong customer service and advanced technology that State Street and IFDS offered were key differentiators in our decision-making process.”
Ron Robertson, managing director of investor services division in Canada at State Street, said: “By partnering with IFDS, we can provide Caldwell Investment Management with a one-stop investment servicing solution that meets the needs of their growing portfolio.”
IFDS is a 50/50 joint venture between affiliates of Boston-based State Street and DST Systems, a Missouri-based provider of shareholder accounting services and proprietary systems.
