BTIG Hong Kong, a broker dealer specializing in institutional trading and related brokerage services, has become a member of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, giving the firm direct access to the region.

BTIG has also expanded its Hong Kong-based team with the appointment of Charles Crofton-Atkins as an executive director. Previously, he held a variety of roles at SHK Securities, South China Securities, HSBC Securities and Credit Suisse First Boston.

The BTIG Hong Kong Sales team also includes, Christian Kielland, managing director and head of BTIG’s Hong Kong, Charles Chen, director, Louisa Liu, vice president, Sales Trading, and Tim Lo, vice president, Sales.
