The Bank of New York Mellon has appointed heads for client management of both the US and Europe.

Frank Froud, executive vice president, will join as head of client management for the US. Mr Froud was previously responsible for client management in Europe and is relocating to New York to take up his new responsibilities.

Hani Kablawi, executive vice president, will take over responsibility of European client management. Mr Kablawi retains his role as chairman of Middle East and Africa, and will be relocating to London from Dubai.

Both Mr Froud and Mr Kablawi will report to Tim Keaney, senior executive vice president and head of global client management.

Mr Keaney said: “In the current environment, with clients going through significant change, it is even more important that we ensure that they receive the full benefit of our company’s leading capabilities across its broad array of products and services. Mr Froud and Mr Kablawi are exceptional leaders who really understand both the threats and opportunities that clients are facing today. They and their teams will be able to provide both valuable counsel and help deliver the whole company to our franchise clients.”
