BNY Mellon Corporate Trust has been appointed trustee, registrar, paying agent, transfer agent and exchange agent for Colombia-based oil company, Ecopetrol’s $1.5 billion bond issue. The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including working capital and capital expenditures.

Reportedly, BNY Mellon Corporate Trust will provide a variety of services for the debt issue, including processing principal and interest payments and maintaining bondholder records.
