Based in New York, Bohan will report globally to Tim Knight, global head of commodity futures in London and locally to Marc Fontaine, head of commodity derivatives in Americas.
Prior to this role, Bohan has held senior management positions at BNP Paribas including head of global execution services where he was responsible for managing the development of the bank’s cash equity sales, trading and electronic execution business in the Americas.
Before joining BNP Paribas, Bohan held senior trading and management roles at Deutsche Bank, BancBoston, Bankers Trust and ING Barings.
Knight said that John brings a wealth of both commercial and marketing experience to the platform and will be key in the further development of their exchange cleared commodities business in the Americas.
