BigBear.ai has joined forces with biometric and payment technology solutions provider SoftPoint to integrate its Trueface facial biometric solutions into SoftPointPay.
The partnership is aimed at enhancing security for consumer payment transactions across SoftPoint’s network of retail partners.
It will also allow businesses to improve authentication processes, streamline operations, as well as enhance the customer experience.
Trueface, BigBear.ai’s biometric matching solution, will power the verification process on SoftPointPay’s point-of-sale platforms, providing an advanced method for authenticating payments.
Facial recognition technology aims to reduce fraud risks by making identities more secure and difficult to replicate, said BigBear.ai.
The deployment of Trueface within SoftPointPay is expected to enhance authentication accuracy, protecting businesses and consumers from fraud, identity theft, and unauthorised access.
SoftPointPay currently operates across multiple sectors, including banking, dining, retail, convenience stores, and event venues.
Its portfolio includes payment solutions, access control, age verification, and loyalty programmes, catering to various industries globally.
