BEA said that its new centers will be located in Sheung Wan, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Fanling, equipped with the new i-Teller, a specially designed facility that enables customers to perform banking transactions with BEA customer service representatives via video call.

Another new facility, the ‘i-Stock Trading’ booth which provides user-friendly stock trading functions. In addition, manned service desks at the new i-Financial Centers offer a range of non-investment services, including consumer loans, mortgage loans, and credit card services.

BEA deputy chief executive Adrian Li said that this new outlet concept enhances both physical and virtual access to services, and the resulting i-Financial Centres are an excellent complement to the existing branch network."

BEA has 86 branches, 55 SupremeGold Centres, and 3 i-Financial Centres across the Hong Kong and it is planning to open additional i-Financial Centres in the coming years.
