Barclays has unveiled a new design for its online banking website. The bank has said that it provides all the functionality that customers are used to, including making, viewing or changing new and existing payments, transferring money between accounts and viewing statements with a new layout and navigation giving easier access to these functions.

Reportedly, the customers can also use online banking to notify the bank that they wish to use their debit card overseas, rename their savings accounts to help identify them and view current offers from the bank.

The bank has added that its specific .mobi domain site service enables customers to view their account balance and ‘at a glance’ statements, make transfers between accounts and make payments outside of the bank. In addition, the customers can find branches, ATMs, get answers to banking questions, view product offers and get support through the online banking helpdesk.

Moreover, Barclays credit card business, Barclaycard, is expected to launch an online account management for its customers called mybarclaycard.
