Bank of America is planning to close 10% of its branches and move to larger digital presence due to an increase in online/mobile banking transactions – reported Mybanktracker.

It has been reported that the Charlotte-based bank is sending marketing messages to the online customers and encouraging them to use the new online wire and electronic funds transfer (ACH) capabilities.

Forums have indicated that this new facility would be made available for Business accounts first, with fees ranging from $3 for a 3-day ACH, to $10 for next-day ACH, and varied for same-day wires, reported the newspaper.
