BNCCORP has announced that its North Dakota-based BNC National Bank subsidiary has entered into a definitive agreement whereby North Dakota-based Great Plains National Bank, will purchase all assets and assume all liabilities associated with the BNC National Bank branch office in Ellendale, North Dakota.
Following the transaction, BNC National Bank will continue to operate its seven other branch offices in North Dakota.
However, the purchase is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed early in the first quarter of 2010.
