Bank of Montreal senior vice president Andrew Irvine said that at BMO, it’s the firm’s mission to provide a great customer experience and makes it easier for Canadians to manage their finances, whether in-branch, online or on the go.

"The significant expansion of our existing full-service ATM network to include the new Cash ATMs is a reflection of that commitment," Irvine said.

Irvine also said that the new ATMs will be installed in grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations and post-secondary school campuses, and various other places across Canada.

The bank has provided a new feature BMO Branch and ATM Locator to its BMO Blue Room mobile application, so that consumers easily locate their nearest branch or ATM from their mobile device, which is available on iPhone and Android smartphones.

To date, the bank has successfully installed 200 BMO Cash ATMs, while the company is gearing up to place over 400 Cash ATMs by the end of current fiscal.
