The bank has also picked up an array of other applications, including online banking, bill pay, mobile banking, social payments and remote deposit capture, which will help it to improve customer experience and back-room efficiencies.
Headquartered in Buchanan, Virginia, the $320m bank hopes to boost efficiencies through integration provided by Fiserv technologies and by migrating from in-house processing to an outsourced delivery mode.
Bank of Botetourt operations senior vice president Andrew Shotwell said, "The Precision platform and Fiserv integration from multiple access points will help us virtually eliminate data-entry errors and free up staff time to serve customers."
"Our move to outsourced processing will enable us to move additional people from the back office to the front line so our organization can focus on the high-quality services and support that our customers want and deserve," Shotwell added.
Set up in 1899 and operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Botetourt Bancshares, the bank manages 10 banking offices in Botetourt, Roanoke, Rockbridge and Franklin Counties in Virginia.
The company offers an array of technologies to the financial services industry, for bringing modernization in payments, processing services, risk and compliance, customer and channel management.
