The new service has been designed to offer users with a simple and secure online payments capability without repeatedly entering card account number, bill-to and ship-to information, claims Visa.
Bank of America online and mobile solutions executive David Godsman said that the digital wallet offers simplified and secure checkout process when shopping online without sharing their financial information.
Using online banking, BofA customers can enroll in Visa’s V.me service and can check out with few clicks, thus eliminating the need to enter card, billing and shipping information for each purchase.
The service will work on websites of participating merchants, according to the lender.

BofA serves nearly 55 million consumer and small business relationships with almost 5,500 retail banking offices and about 16,300 ATMs and also has 30 million online banking active users.
