The collection of credit cards comprises BankAmericard Travel Rewards, BankAmericard Privileges with Travel Rewards, and WorldPoints Travel Rewards for Business, and all the cards are free from foreign transaction fees, expiry of on points and blackout dates, said the card launcher.

BOA consumer and small business products executive Susan Faulkner said that the customers wanted a travel card that gave them the flexibility to use points for travel-related expenses without a lot of hurdles.

"With these new travel cards, customers can earn reward points faster and can choose any airline, hotel or other travel provider for their travel plans," Faulkner said.

The US banking major said that its BankAmericard Travel Rewards and WorldPoints Travel Rewards for Business credit cards do not levy any annual fee and users can earn 1.5 points for every dollar spent on purchases, which is 50% more than traditional rewards programs that offer one point per dollar.

For every dollar spent on purchasing through the BankAmericard Privileges credit card with Travel Rewards, customers gets two points, which is relinquished for customers who maintain minimum $50,000 in deposits and investments with Bank of America or its affiliates.

Bank of America operates 5,700 retail banking offices and approximately 17,250 ATMs and serves more than 57 million customers across the US.
