Diebold will manage more than 1,100 of the bank’s ATMs in India. Axis Bank has more than 1,200 branches and more than 5,500 ATMs across India.
As a part of the managed services agreement, Diebold will support Axis Bank with services such as ATM incident monitoring, vendor management, cash forecasting and replenishment services, caretaker services, consumables management and site maintenance.
Diebold managed services is a partnership approach which ensures continuous improvements, operational efficiency and cost reduction for customers.
The managed services agreement adds to the relationship that Diebold has had with Axis for the past several years for various services, including ATM upgrades, electronic journal facilities and consumables management.
