Zuckerman was the former CEO of The TriCycle Group, a consultancy focused exclusively on the administrative and operational issues of private equity firms.

Prior to his time at The TriCycle Group, Zuckerman was a managing director and CFO for the private equity group at Evercore Partners (EVR).

Previously, he was a managing director at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB), where he served as the chief technology officer and Anti-Money Laundering officer for the Alternative Capital Division.

Prior to that he was the administrative general partner and CFO of The Sprout Group, the venture capital affiliate of CSFB (formerly Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), the firm from which Avista spun out in 2005.

Avista co-managing partner and co-CEO Thompson Dean said Art will be instrumental in ensuring Avista has the appropriate best-practice back-office capabilities and accounting structure to support these efforts.
