The asset-banking group has introduced the services under the ANZ goMoney brand for unbanked and underbanked consumers in Samoa, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea.

ANZ CEO Pacific Vishnu Mohan said, "ANZ goMoney allows customers to send money to family and friends, pay their bills, purchase airtime top-up vouchers and view their account balances and history on their mobile phones."

Under the newly introduced services, Consumers can save, send and spend their money transactions, which comprise merchant payments at the point-of-sale, person-to-person payments, mobile phone top ups as well as viewing of balance and transaction history.

Fiserv international group senior vice president Nick Wilde said, "Mobiliti Reach is a proven and cost-effective way for banks to reach and serve consumers in untapped markets, providing access to convenient financial services that can improve their everyday lives."

Available in different versions, including Mobiliti Reach to meet the specific needs of mass market consumers in emerging markets, the new mobile banking platform supports various kinds of mobile banking and payments services.
