According to the firm, Jill will serve on the US executive committee and will have main responsibility for leading institutional business development, service and overall strategy for the US institutional market.

Allianz Global Investors CEO Brian Gaffney said as the group continues to expand its US business, the institutional marketplace is a critical component to the success of the group.

"Jill is an industry veteran with a strong track record of growing institutional assets and achieving high-quality results for clients. Her insight and expertise will be invaluable as we look to expand our presence in this market," Gaffney said.

With 25 years of expertise in financial industry, Jill has served as managing director, global head of consultant relations at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM).

Before GSAM, Jill worked as a managing director at Bear Stearns Asset Management (BSAM) where she served as a senior portfolio manager as well as head of public funds business development and client service.
