Mr Windsor joins the group from the Bank of Scotland Corporate, where he was area director for new business in London, and national head of franchising. He has also previously worked at Allied Irish and NatWest.

Mr Windsor will be responsible for leading the development of Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank’s business centre network in London and the South East – driving their growth as part of the bank’s business centre networks expansion across the UK.

The business centre initiative is designed to offer support and services to businesses with a turnover of between GBP1 million and GBP25 million. A key provision will be the availability of dedicated support for small to medium sized businesses through experienced relationship managers, based in the business centers.

Steve Luty, head of business centre network of Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank, said: I’m very pleased to be able to welcome Mr Windsor to Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank. His experience and ability will serve to strengthen our presence and our offering in this crucial region for entrepreneurial businesses, which we believe are currently underserved by the big five banks.
