BPC Banking Technologies CEO Vasily Grigoriev said that the new P2P system is powered by SmartVista, which is compliant with PCI DSS 2.0.

The new platform allows the bank to quickly and easily launch new products and services and assist in retaining its market leading position and customer base, he added.

Available on ATMs and through internet banking, the new service will allow customers to carry out P2P money transfers in Russia and the CIS countries.

The service covers card-to-card transfers for MasterCard and Visa cardholders in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine, according to the Russian lender.

Money transfers are secure and meet MasterCard SecureCode, verified by Visa and can be executed in both Russian rubles as well as the US dollar.
