ACI Worldwide, a provider of payment systems, has signed a partnership agreement in India with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), an IT services, consulting and business solutions firm, to deliver best combination of payments products and services.

ACI Worldwide provides payments solutions for 15 Indian financial institutions, providing functions such as authentication, authorization, routing, settlement, device driving, merchant acquiring and fraud detection.

This partnership agreement is expected to provide organizations the option of working with a service provider with whom they may have already worked, when deploying payment systems from ACI Worldwide.

ACI Worldwide president of Asia Pacific Jeremy Wilmot said the agreement with TCS will provide additional payments expertise and resources to the firm’s 250 employees in the country, and ensure its customers can choose the support that works best for their environment, delivering business agility without compromising trust.

ACI Worldwide has been in India since 1990. It has two offices in India, with a team in Bangalore providing global product development for ACI, as well as being the base for services for the Indian and Asia-Pacific markets, and an office in Mumbai providing sales and services capability.
