The bank’s ATM network now features NCR’s SelfServ 34 Cash Deposit ATM, which offers a range of transaction services including cash deposit and bill payment.

The technology firm also delivered SelfServ 34 Dual Dispenser ATMs which have the capability to manage high transaction volumes.

The NCR SelfServ ATMs with self-healing technology will be deployed in existing Access Bank branches and in remote locations throughout Nigeria.

NCR plans to complete the installations in the second half of this year.

As part of the deal, the company will also install SelfServ 25 and SelfServ 26 ATMs to be situated at several stations in Nigeria.

The ATMs will incorporate NCR’s ATM Skimming Protection Solution (SPS) that use jammers to generate multiple random signals and avoid criminal attempts to isolate and record data from the magnetic stripe on the card.

Access Bank executive director of operations and IT Ojini Olaghare said: "NCR has been a market leader and the addition of NCR suite of innovative ATM’s and security solution reiterates our commitment to be the first to drive new innovations in the Nigerian Banking sector and provide world class customer experience."

NCR Nigeria country manager Ahmed Abdel Aziz Hamada said: "Through our SelfServ ATMs, Access Bank customers will have fast, reliable access to their bank accounts and businesses will be able to make deposits even after their branch has closed."
