Based in Hong Kong, Mr Nanji will report to Anthony Nappi, managing director and regional head of global transaction services, Asia Pacific and to Bharat Sarpeshkar, managing director of global head of BSG.

Under Mr Nanji’s leadership, the Citi’s BSG business will continue to build on synergies that support and develop deep relationships with regional financial institutional clients. He will also take responsibility for providing financial institution clients with Citi’s innovative products and solutions.

As part of his role, he will also ensure that clients in Asia Pacific will better leverage Citi’s global capabilities, platforms and infrastructure to drive revenue performance and enhance service quality.

Prior to his new position, Mr Nanji served as Citi’s trade head for Africa and the head of global transaction services for Nigeria/West and Central Africa. For Citi, he has also held various senior roles including head of global transaction services for several markets in Central Europe.
