Jens, who succeeds Hugues Delcourt, was most recently the CEO of Fortis Prime Fund Solutions, which is a subsidiary of ABN Amro.

Jens, joined the Pierson side of what became MeesPierson in 1991 and has held a variety of roles with the group through its sale to Fortis and Fortis’s sale of the Swiss business to ABN Amro, according to Wealth Briefing.

Jens has experience in commercial and private banking in the Netherlands and overseas including a number of years in Switzerland where he was MD of Mees Pierson Investments.

In a statement, the bank said that Jens with his international experience within private banking, including asset management, investment strategy, advisory, private equity, real estate, hedge funds, credits, wealth structuring and product development, will lead and further strengthen the business of ABN AMRO Private Banking in Switzerland.
