The credit union will also provide its existing mobile banking application, which will allow its customers to conveniently and safely pay any bill by capturing an image of the bill using their mobile device.

Members will then have to simply enter the amount and payment date to complete the payment. Currently, almost 17% of 3Rivers’ active checking account holders use its mobile platforms.

3Rivers marketing communication manager Melissa Shaw said, "The addition of Picture Pay enables us to fulfill our members’ need for a simple mobile bill pay solution, as well as increase mobile adoption and member satisfaction."

Allied Payment Network president Ralph Marcuccilli commented, "With Picture Pay, 3Rivers’ members now have the ability to pay their bills at any time, from any place, by simply snapping a picture of the bill."

3Rivers serves more than 67,000 members encompassing individuals, small businesses in Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio.
