SugarCRM Inc., the company that enables businesses to create extraordinary customer relationships with the most empowering, adaptable and affordable CRM solution on the market, announced today it has been named a visionary in Gartner's 2016 "Magic Quadrant for Sales Force Automation."

Gartner evaluated 19 vendors for the 2016 sales force automation report based on each company's "completeness of vision" and its "ability to execute" on that vision.

"SugarCRM is the only major player in the industry that is solely focused on helping companies build extraordinary customer relationships. We continue to be a leading choice for enterprises that are looking for a modern alternative to the CRM status quo," said Larry Augustin, CEO at SugarCRM. "We are honored to appear in the sales force automation magic quadrant for the seventh year in a row."

SugarCRM believes its best-ever position in the SFA Magic Quadrant is because the company has moved upmarket with an enhanced CRM platform that appeals to larger enterprise companies. In addition, its flexible cloud deployment options are an attractive option for financial services and multinational companies that value retaining ownership of their customer data.

Earlier this year, SugarCRM introduced Sugar® 7.7, the next step forward in the fulfillment of the company's vision of a modern CRM, including features that put more timely and relevant information at customer-facing employees' fingertips. The company also announced the availability of a new Customer Journey Solution, a new tool for enterprises that automates complex business processes and maps them to the customer journey. SugarCRM also announced that a new solution, the Sugar Intelligence Service™, is in development. The new service is expected to provide a comprehensive view of the customer by combining data from best-in-class external sources with company CRM data. The Sugar Intelligence Service is also expected to eventually include predictive analytics capabilities to make intelligent follow-up recommendations in customer interactions.
