Jain will be responsible for the implementation of a focused growth strategy for AEME’s partner network, through building strong and sustained relationships with key merchant partners.
He has more than 19 years of multi-national experience with global leaders in the financial services and payments industry.
Jain will work closely with preferred merchants in several areas including signing them up to accept American Express Cards, facilitating the settlement of transactions and providing other relevant information services.
Jain said the payment services industry is shaped by the relationships between merchants, acquirers and issuers. With American Express, all these independent functions are consolidated into one entity, giving cost savings and detailed customer insight to merchants. This also means that the relationships with merchant partners are key to the continuing success of the organization.
